The frequencies of these radios may vary from one location and one country to that of the other. If the frequency is preselected, it is easier for the person to simply choose it by a push of a button. There are however, different factors that might affect the type of frequencies used. Some of these factors include government licensing and regulations, local congestion, geographical location as signals might be hindered in most of the northern places and even the presence of committees that might approve or disapprove of the frequency.
